International and currency conversion
For applicable international commercial transactions, PayPal lists an additional 1.50 percentage points. This is not the same thing as a currency conversion spread. If PayPal converts currencies, its applicable exchange rate may incorporate a conversion charge not modeled by our default calculator.
Rates are not universal
Special account agreements, seller location, invoicing, alternate payment methods, nonprofit rates, disputes, refunds, micropayment eligibility, and payment-product variations can change the actual charge. For invoices, for example, the payment method used to pay the invoice matters. Do not treat this table as a quote for a particular merchant account.
